1.2 Removing and installing radiator grille

Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Torque wrench - V.A.G 1783-
- Removal wedge - 3409-
Removing
- Unscrew bolts -2-.
- Release 4 locking hooks -arrows a- from lock carrier.
- Pull upper area of radiator grille -1- out of lock carrier -arrows b-.
- Release 6 locking hooks -arrows c- from bumper using removal wedge - 3409-.
- Pull radiator grille -1- out of front bumper cover in direction of -arrow d-.
Installing
- Insert radiator grille -1- into front bumper cover and lock carrier.
- Applying slight pressure, engage all locking hooks -arrows aand -arrows c-.
