Step-by-step fitting of the carbon-look caps on the exterior mirror housings of the Volkswagen Polo from 2009.

Scope of delivery

Mirror caps, left (L) and right (R), 1 each

Fitting

1. Special tool: assembly wedge T10039/1 or wedge T10383.

2. Remove the mirror glass: press it in on the inner side (1) and pull it out on the outer side (2).

3. Release the catches (1) and take the old cap off with the wedge (2).

4. Push the new cap on and press until the catches (⚠) engage.

5. Refit the mirror glass and press it on until it clicks into place.
