2.3.1 Removing adapter, Polo BlueMotion

Special tools and workshop equipment required

• Pull handle - V.A.G 1351/1-
• Middle piece of roof spoiler already removed ⇒ 2.2.1 Removing and installing spoiler, Polo »BlueMotion«
• Side piece of roof spoiler already removed ⇒ 2.4.1 Removing and installing side piece of spoiler, Polo »BlueMotion«

• Position cutting cord -1- along side and under the adapter
  • A-, on the side that the side piece of the roof spoiler was removed.
• Cut through adhesive sealant using pull handles - V.A.G 1351/1- -2- and cutting cord -1-.
• Release fastener to remaining side piece of roof spoiler -B- and remove adapter.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

• Pull handle - V.A.G 1351/1-

• Lay cutting cord -1- between rear lid and adapter -2-.
• Cut through adhesive sealants on one side of roof spoiler using a “sawing” motion with both pull handles - V.A.G 1351/1- -3- and remove adapter -2-.
