Removing and installing hinges
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Torque wrench - V.A.G 1331-
Removing
- Remove bonnet -3- ⇒ 1.4 Removing and installing bonnet.
- Removing plenum chamber cover ⇒ 3.5 Removing and installing plenum chamber cover.
- Unscrew bolts -2-.
- Pull off hinge -1-.
Installing
Installation of the hinge -1- is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- Specified torque for bolts -2-: 20 Nm.
- Install bonnet ⇒ 1.4 Removing and installing bonnet.
