Adjusting glass panel

Special tools and workshop equipment required

• Torque wrench - V.A.G 1783-

Perform the following steps:

• Loosen securing bolts for glass panel.
• Operate glass panel of panorama tilting roof so that it moves to “open” position.
• Operate glass panel of panorama tilting roof so that it moves to “closed” position.

• Adjust height of glass panel at front and rear on both sides as follows:

Front panel adjustment:

• Dimension a- = 1 mm lower than roof assembly frame -3-.
• Press the inner seal to one side.
• Tighten the front inside bolts (5.5 Nm).

Rear panel adjustment:

• Dimension b- = 1 mm higher than roof member -2-
• Tighten the rear inside bolts (5.5 Nm).
• Open glass panel and tighten the rear bolts (5.5 Nm).
