Removing and installing cover

Special tools and workshop equipment required

• Torque wrench 210 Nm - V.A.G 1783-

Removing:

• Remove glass panel ⇒ 1.7 Removing and installing glass panel.
• Pull self-adhesive insulation -3- off.
• Unscrew bolts -2-.
• Pull out cover upwards at an angle -arrows-.

Installing:

• Push cover onto assembly frame.
• Tighten bolts -2-. Specified torque: 2.5 Nm.
• Attach self-adhesive insulation -3-.
