Door – assembly overview and fastening

  • 1 Door
  • 2 Multi-point socket head bolt
    • 32 Nm
    • Always renew bolts after loosening.
  • 3 Door hinge
    • Upper part: secured to lower part of hinge with bolt -4-.
    • The hinge is split.
  • 4 Bolt
    • This bolt must be removed from hinge to remove door
    • 23 Nm
  • 5 Multi-point socket head bolt
    • Installed from inside vehicle.
    • Remove lower B-pillar trim ⇒ General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr. 70; Trims, interior; Removing and installing B- pillar trim.
    • 32 Nm
    • After renewing B-pillar, other specified torques must be observed ⇒ 1.5 Installing after renewing B-pillar.
    • Always renew bolts after loosening
  • 6 Door hinge
    • Lower part: secured to upper part of hinge with bolt -4-.
    • Hinge is split.
  • 7 Multi-point socket head bolt
  • 8 Bolt
    • 30 Nm
    • Unscrew and remove this bolt to remove the door.
  • 9 Door arrester
  • 10 Bolt
    • Qty. 2
    • 9 Nm
    • For door arrester
  • 11 Multi-point socket head bolt
    • Installed from inside vehicle.
  • Remove B-pillar trim ⇒ General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr. 70; Trims, interior; Removing and installing B-pillar trim.
  • 32 Nm
  • After renewing B-pillar, other specified torques must be observed ⇒ 1.5 Installing after renewing B-pillar.

    • Hinge is split.

    • 32 Nm
    • Always renew bolts after loosening.
  • 15 Door hinge
    • Upper part: secured to lower part of hinge with bolt -16-.
    • Hinge is split.
  • 16 Bolt
    • 23 Nm
    • This bolt must be removed to remove door from hinge pin.
