Removing and installing inner door seal

During production, a sealant is applied to the inner door seals, which are then placed on the door flange and rolled on.

Removing

To remove door inner seal, loosen pillar trims as required without removing them completely ⇒ General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr. 70; Trims, interior; Overview of fitting locations – trims, interior.
Loosen sill panel moulding (do not remove it completely) ⇒ General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr. 70; Trims, interior; Removing and installing sill panel moulding.
Pull off inner door seal -1- from body flange -2-.
