Removing and installing window channel
Removing
Exterior mirror and window slot seal are removed.
- Pull out retaining clip -3- -arrow c-.
- Peel inner sealing lip of window channel off the door flange from the inside.
- Pull window channel -1- off evenly all around -arrows a- from door flange -2-, starting in rear area.
- Pull window channel -1- out of mountings -arrows b-.
Installing
- Openings -4- beneath window channel are masked off with textile adhesive tape.
Qty. 4 in 2-door model, qty. 3 in 4-door model. Adhesive tape dimensions: Height = approx. 10 mm, width = approx. 40 mm.
- Push window channel -1- into mountings -arrows a- uniformly.
- Push window channel -1- evenly all around onto the door flange -2-.
- Fold sealing lip of window channel onto door flange from the inside.
- Push in retaining clip -3- -arrow c-.
