Removing and installing door handle
Removing
- Remove lock cylinder ⇒ 2.9 Removing and installing lock cylinder or cover cap ⇒ 2.10 Removing and installing cap without lock cylinder.
- Pull out door handle -1- backwards slightly -arrow a- from support for mounting bracket.
- Swivel door handle in direction of -arrow b-.
- Remove door handle from mounting bracket -2-, keeping door handle at right angles to mounting bracket -arrow c-.
Installing
- Insert door handle -1- at right angle -arrow a- in mounting bracket.
- Swing door handle -1- into door -arrow b-.
- Slide door handle forcibly forwards -arrow c- into support for mounting bracket.
Install lock cylinder ⇒ 2.9 Removing and installing lock cylinder or install cover cap ⇒ 2.10 Removing and installing cap.
- It is essential that the function then be checked with the door open.
