2.16.1 Removing and installing outer window slot seal, 2-door model

Removing

• Detach bonding surface -3- from door -arrow a-.
• Lift seal -1- evenly -arrows b- off flange a little -2- as far as exterior mirror.

• Pull off seal under exterior mirror -arrow c-.

Installing

Existing window slot seal

• Coat adhesive tape -3- with rubber profile adhesive - D 002 100-.

All window slot seals

• Push seal under exterior mirror -arrow b-.

Press seal -1- evenly -arrows- onto flange by hand -2-.

For a new window slot seal, pull protective film off adhesive tape.

• In area of bonding surface -3-, firmly press window slot seal onto door -arrow c-.

2.16.2 Removing and installing outer window slot seal, 4-door model

Removing

• Lift seal -1- evenly -arrows b- off flange a little -2- as far as exterior mirror.
• Pull off seal under exterior mirror -arrow a-.

Installing

• Push off seal under exterior mirror -arrow b-.

Press seal -1- evenly-arrows a- onto flange by hand -2-.
