Removing and installing radiator fan - V7-

Removing

• Remove noise insulation ⇒ General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr. 66; Noise insulation.
• Remove radiator cowl ⇒ 4.5 Removing and installing radiator cowl with radiator fan.
• Remove connector for radiator fan from retainer.

• Push pins out of spreader rivets -arrows-.

• Carefully lift up fan ring on back of radiator cowling using a suitable tool.
• Remove fan ring.

• Remove electric cable -1- from cable guide.
• Unscrew nuts -arrows- and remove radiator fan - V7-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. The following should be observed:

• Ensure proper seating of spreader rivets -arrows-.
• Install radiator cowl ⇒ 4.5 Removing and installing radiator cowl with radiator fan.
