Special tools and workshop equipment required

  • Torque wrench - V.A.G 1331-
  • Torque wrench - V.A.G 1332-

Removing

  • Remove noise insulation ⇒ General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr. 66; Noise insulation.
  • Unscrew bolts -arrows- for pendulum support -1-.
  • Pull pendulum support -1- out of assembly carrier -2-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. The following should be observed:

Removing

  • Remove noise insulation ⇒ General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr. 66; Noise insulation.
  • Unscrew bolts -arrows- for pendulum support.
  • Pull pendulum support -1- out of assembly carrier -2-.

Installing
