Removing and installing front belt end anchor

6R 2009–2014 Removing

Special tools and workshop equipment required

• Torque wrench - V.A.G 1331-

6C 2014–2017 Removing

• Remove bench seat ⇒ 2.1 Removing and installing bench seat / individual seats.
• Remove backrest ⇒ 2.2 Removing and installing rear seat backrest.
• Remove sill panel moulding (2-door models) ⇒ 5.1.1 Removing and installing sill panel mouldings, 2-door models.
• Remove side trim panel ⇒ 5.7 Removing and installing side trim panel.
• Remove bolts -1- and -4-
• Remove washer -3- and belt anchor rail -2- then pull belt loop off belt anchor rail.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Tightening torques:
