Removing and installing mirror cover trim

Special tools and workshop equipment required

• Torque wrench - V.A.G 1783-

Removing

• Removing door trim.

• Vehicles with 4 doors: ⇒ 1.1.2 Removing and installing front door trim, 4-door models
• Vehicles with 2 doors: ⇒ 1.1.1 Removing and installing front door trim, 2-door models

• Remove bolt -1- (1.5 Nm).
• In vehicles with manual mirror adjustment, pull cover -1- out of mountings in inner door panel.
• In vehicles with electric mirror adjustment, pull cover -2- out of mountings in inner door panel.

Installing

• Install in reverse order of removal.
