Supercharger – assembly overview and fastening
- 1 Housing with noise insulation
- For noise insulation.
- 2 Noise insulation
- For intake air.
- 3 Intake hose
- Secure with spring-type clips
- 4 7 Nm
- Self-tapping bolt
- Securing bolt must only be tightened with a nut runner if nut runner speed is max. 500 rpm and a max. specified torque of 7 Nm is set.
- 5 7 Nm
- 6 7 Nm

- Securing bolt must only be tightened with a nut runner if nut runner speed is max. 500 rpm and a max. specified torque of 7 Nm is set.
- 7 O-ring
- Renew
- 8 Pressure pipe
- 9 Noise insulation
- 10 Housing
- For noise insulation.
- 11 Noise insulation
- For charge air.
- With seal
- Renew seal between supercharger and noise insulation.
- 12 Belt pulley
- For supercharger
- 13 8 Nm
- 14 Coolant pump with magnetic clutch for supercharger - N421-
- 15 Poly V-belt
- For supercharger
- 16 23 Nm
- 17 Tensioning element
- For supercharger poly V-belt.
- Relieve tension using 16 mm open-end spanner - T10241-.
- Lock with locking pin - T10060 A-.
- 18 40 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
- To loosen and tighten securing bolt, counterhold supercharger shaft with spanner.
- Renew
- 19 Compressor
