    • Black, 6-pin.
    • For throttle valve module - J338-
  • 11 From activated charcoal filter system solenoid valve 1 - N80-
  • 12 Intake manifold
  • 13 Seal
    • Renew
  • 14 From exhaust gas recirculation valve - N18-
    • In case of renewal, adapt engine control unit to exhaust gas recirculation valve ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester “Guided function”
  • 15 Lambda probe after catalytic converter - G130-, 50 Nm
    • Fitting location: in front exhaust pipe
    • Remove and install using ring spanner for Lambda probe - 3337-
    • Grease only the threads with “G 052 112 A3”; “G 052 112 A3” cannot get into the slots on the probe body.
    • If seal is leaking, nip open and renew.

    • black
    • For Lambda probe after catalytic converter - G130- and Lambda probe heating 1 after catalytic converter - Z29-.
  • 17 Lambda probe - G39-, 50 Nm
    • Fitting location: in exhaust manifold
    • Grease only the threads with “G 052 112 A3”; “G 052 112 A3” cannot get into the slots on the probe body.
    • Remove and install using ring spanner for Lambda probe - 3337-
    • If seal is leaking, nip open and renew.

    • black
    • For Lambda probe - G39- and Lambda probe heating - Z19-.
  • 19 5 Nm
  • 20 Engine speed sender - G28-
    • Fitting location: cylinder block intake side
  • 21 Sealing ring
    • Renew
  • 22 Retaining clip
    • Check for firm seating
  • 23 Connector
    • Black, 2-pin.
  • 24 Radiator outlet coolant - G62-
    • Before removing, release pressure in cooling system if necessary.
  • 25 Plugs
    • Before removing, release pressure in cooling system if necessary.
  • 26 O-ring
    • Renew
  • 27 Thermostat housing
  • 28 10 Nm
  • 29 Connector
    • For engine control unit - J623-
    • Only disconnect or connect with ignition switched off.
    • Release to pull off
  • 30 Engine (motor) control unit - J623-
    • If renewed, the engine control unit must be adapted to the electronic immobilizer ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester “Guided functions”.
  • 31 Retaining frame
    • For engine control unit
  • 32 3 Nm
  • 33 Supply pipe
    • Secure with spring-type clips
    • Ensure firm seating.
    • From fuel filter.
