- Functional check: heat thermostat in water. The pin of the thermal element must move out.

Coolant pump side
- 1 Main drive toothed belt
- Mark direction of rotation before removing
- Check for wear
- Do not kink

- Check for ease of movement.
- If damaged or leaking, renew complete.

- Coat with oil before inserting
- Secure belt pulley against turning with counterhold - 3415-.
- Turning further can be done in several stages.
- The turning further angle can be measured with a commercial protractor.
