Ignition system – assembly overview and fastening
- 1 Connector
- Black, 4-pin.
- With assembly tool - T10118-.
- 2 Ignition coil 3 with output stage - N291-
- Ignition coil 1 with output stage - N70-
- Ignition coil 2 with output stage - N127-
- Ignition coil 4 with output stage - N292-
- Removing and installing ⇒ 1.2 Removing and installing ignition coils with output stage
- 3 Connector
- Black, 2-pin.
- For knock sensor 1 - G61-.
- Connector contacts are gold-plated.
- 4 Knock sensor 1 - G61-
- Connector contacts are gold-plated.
- To remove, remove supercharger ⇒ 2 Compressor.
- 5 20 Nm
- The specified torque influences the function of the knock sensor.
- 6 Connector
- Black, 3-pin.
- For Hall sender - G40-.
- 7 Hall sender - G40-
- 8 O-ring
- Renew if damaged
- 9 10 Nm
- 10 Spark plug, 25 Nm
- Remove and install with spark plug socket and extension - 3122 B-
- Type and electrode gap ⇒ 1.4 Test data, spark plugs.
- 11 Wiring guide
- Bolt to camshaft housing with 5 Nm torque.
- 12 Earth cable
- Loosen or tighten only with ignition switched off.
- 13 10 Nm
- Loosen or tighten only with ignition switched off.
