Removing and installing radiator fan - V7- and radiator fan 2 - V177- (Polo)

Removing

• Remove noise insulation ⇒ General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr. 50; Body - front, noise insulation.

• Disconnect electrical connector -arrow-.

• Pull connector -arrow- from radiator outlet coolant temperature sender - G83-.

• Pull off intake hose -1-.
• Unscrew securing bolts -arrows- and remove intake cowl.

• Press both radiator latches in -direction of arrow-.
• Carefully remove cowling -1- downwards together with radiator fans.

• Disconnect connector -1-.

Depending on which radiator fan is to be removed.

• Unclip line from line guide and unscrew securing nuts -arrows-.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing, note the following:
