It is miscible with 5W-30 with 504.00/507.00 and with 0W-20 in engines for which 508.00/509.00 and 504.00/507.00 products are approved.

As of 2018, the most commonly used oil in the Volkswagen Group's European factories is the 0W viscosity grade. This share is steadily increasing. As of the 2020 production year, as much as 70% of the "first fill" of VW Group engines in Poland is Longlife IV 0W-20 oil with the 508.00/509.00 standard, while the second most frequently used oil is 0W-30 Longlife III with the well-known 504.00/507.00 standard, the former 5W-30 viscosity grade oil.
