Additional information and assembly work for vehicles with air conditioner

To facilitate removing and installing engine without opening refrigerant circuit:

• Remove retaining clamp(s) for refrigerant lines.
• Remove poly V-belt ⇒ 1.4 Removing and installing poly-V belt.
• Remove lock carrier with attachments ⇒ General body repairs exterior; Rep. gr. 50; Body - front; Removing and installing lock carrier with attachments.
• Set lock carrier with radiator and condenser to side so that refrigerant lines and hoses are not stressed.
• Remove air conditioner compressor ⇒ Heating, air conditioning; Rep. gr. 87
