6R 2009–2014 4.6.1 Accident with airbag triggering

The following components must be renewed following an accident with airbag triggering:

• All triggered airbag units.
• Supports and retainer for front passenger module if front passenger airbag was triggered.
• Coil connector with slip ring, when driver airbag has triggered.
• All seat belts with triggered belt tensioners.
• In addition, the following must also be replaced if necessary (visual check): all damaged components.

6R 2009–2014 4.6.2 Accident without airbag triggering

• If airbag warning lamp - K75- does not indicate a fault, there is no requirement to replace airbag components. The seat belts should be checked separately.
