## Description

The G055512A2 service transmission oil (GL-4 specification) is highly recommended by professional service centers for 5-speed manual transmissions found in AUDI, VOLKSWAGEN VW, SKODA, and SEAT vehicles with transversely positioned engines. The sophisticated VAG gearbox systems demand precisely matched oil quality for optimal performance and longevity.

This G055512A2 transmission fluid is the current replacement for the earlier G052512A2 formulation. Despite G052512A2 no longer being manufactured by VAG, it continues to be referenced as the recommended service oil in technical documentation for various gearbox models.

Regular maintenance through proper flushing and replacement of transmission fluid helps prevent mechanical wear, grinding sounds, and shifting problems over time. Consult your vehicle's maintenance schedule for the manufacturer's recommended service intervals.
