## Description

G055512A2 service transmission oil (GL-4 specification) is recommended for 5-speed manual transmissions in AUDI, VW, SKODA, and SEAT with transverse engines.

VAG gearboxes are highly sensitive to oil quality and require careful selection of oil for specific transmission types. The G055512A2 transmission oil has replaced the previously offered G052512A2 oil. Although VAG has not offered G052512A2 oil for some time, it still appears as a current service oil in the documentation for certain gearboxes.

Flushing and replacing your manual transmission fluid is essential to ensure proper component wear and to avoid grinds and slips down the road. Your owner's manual will specify the recommended intervals for flushing and refill.
